Shift Workers Should Hold the Coffee

If you work shifts, you should rethink the amount of coffee you drink. New Canadian research says drinking coffee may help get you through the sleepy hours at work, but the caffeine hurts your chances of getting a good sleep when you get home.
The Montreal study is in the new edition of the journal Sleep Medicine. It shows that shift workers are already struggling with their circadian rhythm-their body telling them, to sleep at work, telling them they should be up when they're in bed. And the caffeine in coffee just worsens that and further interferes with sleep. What's more, this side-effect gets worse as you get older
