Chris has immediately denied the report, threatening to sue.

But!!! Two weeks ago, several witnesses saw Chris & Kate openly making out at a U2 show in Vegas.

Chris & Gwyneth have been married for 6 years and have 2 kids and about two years ago they hit a rough patch and he started dating again.

But that was kept low-key and he & Gwyneth were able to work out their problems.

Most don't think it'll blow over so quickly this time around.
