Auto Insurance Changes

There's talk of change in auto insurance in Ontario. 40 changes to be exact as the Ontario government looks for ways to ease the cost. Later today, the govt. is to announce a series of ideas for allowing motorists to put tgether their own coverage. For example, you could lower your limit on basic medical coverage and that would lower the overall cost of the package.
Finance Minister Dwight Duncan will propose the changes to give drivers more options and flexibility.
By the way, the Insurance Bureau of Canada says the average Ontario driver was paying $1,362.11 a year for insurance in September. That's up 3.6 per cent from a year ago, but down 8.6 percent from 6 years ago
