How can I request a song?

Visit our "Contact Us" page and select "Request A Song" in the "Subject" drop-down menu. Fill in the information for the song you wish to request and send it our way!
How long will it take for you to play my request?

It really depends on the request. We get such a wide variety and large volume of requests, it would be impossible to play them all (or even half of them, for that matter).
How do I email a CHUM FM DJ?

Simply visit our "Contact Us" page from the main navigation above, choose the person you want to reach and then send your message. It’s that easy. We seriously try to answer every single e-mail message that we get. In the off-chance that you don't receive a reply, try this e-mail: 411@chumfm.com
Where is your radio station? Is there parking nearby? What's the closest subway stop?

The CHUM Radio studios are located at 250 Richmond Street, at the northwest corner of Richmond and Duncan Streets. There’s a parking lot located 1 block west on the south side of Richmond.. If you’re traveling by subway, get off at the Osgoode stop and walk west on Queen, south on Duncan and then 2 doors west on Richmond.

How do I listen to CHUM FM over the internet?

To listen to CHUM FM on-line, click on "listen now" - top right, just above the weather box on our website. This action will launch the CHUM FM stream player directly. For more options, visit our "Media players" page from the "Music" menu above; you will be taken to a page with options for listening online

How do I join the CHUM Club?

Joining the CHUM Club is easy and free. First, in the top right corner of our website, you'll see a "Login" button with a "Sign up" link directly below. Click on this and follow the instructions for New Users, and you'll be part of the CHUM Club in no time!
How do I activate my CHUM Club membership?

After filling out the CHUM Club registration online, an email is generated by the website and sent to the email address you registered with. In that email is a link that must be clicked in order to activate the membership.
If you do not see the activation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk/deleted folders to insure it was not misdirected.
I have trouble joining the CHUM Club and logging in. Why?

In order to join the CHUM Club, you'll need to enable your web browser's cookies. Here's an explanation of a cookie from the Internet Explorer help menu:

"Some Web sites store information in a small text file, called a 'cookie' on your hard disk.

Cookies contain information about you and your preferences. For example, if you inquire about a flight schedule at an airline's Web site, the site might create a cookie that contains your itinerary. Or it might only contain a record of which pages within the site you visited, to help the site customize the view for you the next time you visit.

Only the information that you provide, or the choices you make while visiting a Web site, can be stored in a cookie. For example, the site cannot determine your e-mail name unless you choose to type it. Allowing a Web site to create a cookie does not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer, and only the site that created the cookie can read it."

In order to accept cookies in Internet Explorer, open your browser, click on Tools > Internet Options > Security > Update your Internet Security Level to "medium-high". That way you'll be able to join the 104.5 CHUM Club.
I won a contest; how do I pickup my prize?

Please call 416-925-6666 and ask for CHUM FM Promotions. Please state your name and prize or contest you won. The CHUM FM Promotions dept will let you know if your prize is ready for pick up. Thank You.

Claiming your prize may vary depending on the specific contest, but in general, you can pick up your winnings from the Shipping/Receiving desk located through the parking area at 299 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario weekdays between the hours of 8am and 6pm. There are parking spaces available for prize pickups in the 299 Queen St West parking lot, just east of the main building entrance or winners can walk in off Queen Street W through the parking lot to the shipping/receiving entrance

To pickup your prize you will be asked to present personal identification.
How long do I have to wait before I can enter one of your contests again?

The waiting period to win again on CHUM FM or at CHUMFM.com is three (3) months from the date of winning, regardless of the prize and its value.
When I go to enter a contest, I can't find the "Enter Contest" button.

To enter our "Online" contests at CHUMFM.COM you first have to join the CHUM Club. This is easy to do and it's free! In the top right corner of our website, you'll see a "Login" button with a "Sign up" link directly below. Click on this and follow the instructions for New Users... then you'll be set to enter any or all of the contests on CHUMFM.COM! Just go to the contest page, make sure you're logged in, and click the button at the bottom of the page that says "Enter contest".

We also run "On-air" contests. We have these listed on our website but you'll have to listen to win as this type of contest will not have a "Enter" button available on our website.
